Our Team
Originally from England, Matthew completed his business degree in the UK and went to work in the finance and estate-planning industry. Matthew moved to Hong Kong in 2001 and joined Professional Wills in 2008. He has been advising clients on their Wills and estate planning throughout Asia since then.
Matthew advises on a broad range of cases and has assisted clients on a number of issues connected to their Will writing. These include multi-jurisdictional considerations, inheritance/estate tax planning, and business succession. Matthew also specializes in complications surrounding UK domicile - which is relevant for many clients in the region - and also in planning for repatriation.

Matthew has given seminars to Chambers of Commerce and to similar organizations in Hong Kong, Vietnam, Singapore, and Thailand emphasising the importance of Will writing and estate planning and the various complications arising in different jurisdictions.
Matthew is a follower of Stoke City, is a keen snooker player and cricketer, and enjoys any challenge by anyone to a game of pool.

Timothy David Mann
Will Writer
Tim is from the UK and graduated with a degree in Management Studies. He joined Ernst & Young in London in 1988 and qualified with E&Y as a chartered accountant.
Subsequently, Tim moved into the financial services industry and had a successful career working with several high-profile banking institutions.
Tim moved to Hong Kong in 1992 and has made it his home.
After leaving mainstream employment, Tim set up and ran his own consulting company focused on the private equity and hedge funds industry.
Tim joined in early 2025 after using PWL to prepare his own Wills.
As such, he has experience both as a client and as a Will writing advisor and this deeper understanding of both sides helps to ensure a seamless process for clients from start to finish.
Tim is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He is also a member of the International Coaching Federation.
He enjoys spending time with his family of 5 children, on the golf course and acting as treasurer for a range of clubs and societies.

Melissa Leung, CPA
Finance Manager
Melissa brings more than 20 years experience of diverse accounting, financial, and business experience to her role at Professional Wills Limited.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance as well as completing her CPA in the US. Melissa has extensive accounting experience through accountant and senior management roles for a variety of medium to multinational companies located in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Hong Kong.
Her expertise includes providing comprehensive accounting services, including, audits, taxes, and payroll reports. Additionally, Melissa has expertise in supporting computerized accounting systems.
She is a native Cantonese speaker, fluent in English and Putonghua, with a basic knowledge of Japanese.

Nina De Guzman
Secretary
Nina graduated in the Philippines and relocated to Hong Kong in 2016.
With prior administrative experience, Nina is proficient at providing assistance to the team and ensuring the smooth operation of the office. She takes pride in offering full support to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Nina’s creative outlet is her music, and she enjoys composing songs and expressing herself through music.
An easy-going individual by nature, Nina approaches life with a positive mindset and has a penchant for connecting with others.

Maya Noble
Secretary
Originally from the US, Maya graduated from the University of Washington in 2022 and moved to Hong Kong in March 2025.
With prior experience as an executive assistant, Maya ensures all tasks are handled accurately and efficiently. She finds joy in helping others and making sure everything runs smoothly.
Outside of work you can find her running, going to the gym, or taking weekend trips to different parts of Asia.

Wei Roberts
Business Development
Wei's role helps our clients ensure their affairs are in order, with a particular focus on raising attention to potential tax issues for certain jurisdictions to complement their existing estate planning. He enjoys interacting with clients and adding value to what they have in place to safeguard their assets. Wei has been in Hong Kong for 8 years and was educated in the UK.

Emily Lloyd
Business Development
Emily has been in Hong Kong for 15 years and assists the team with marketing and business development. She is active through the international school network educating parents about the value of having correct planning in place for guardianship of young children.
